Confidence
Like everyone else in America, Amber and I are watching the show “Receivers” on Netflix. The number one thing that stands out when watching any show like this is the extreme confidence all of these people have in themselves. It is easy to have confidence in yourself when you have a god given talent that is likely apparent to you and everyone around you your entire life, but to the level that these guys are confident is something we can all learn from. Fact of the matter is, no matter how much confidence I have, I was never going to be Davonte Adams or George Kittle, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be equally as great at something else. The interesting thing about watching people with confidence is that it carries over into every single aspect of their lives. This is where we can learn from this. Have that confidence, carrying yourself in such a way will certainly open up more opportunities for you, and lead to more success in your life. The question is, how do normal people develop this when there isn’t some apparent skill we have? There are the easy answers like learn to fight, go to the gym, etc. but those can only carry you so far. How do you develop supreme confidence in everything you do? It starts with wins. Small wins every day that lead to big wins down the line. How you set yourself up for wins is up to you. This is why the gym is one of the biggest confidence boosters. Yes you are starting to look better, but more importantly you are achieving something every single day in a controlled environment. This creates a snowball effect that will roll into other parts of your life. Once you start winning in other areas this confidence only grows. One of the hardest parts of confidence is remaining humble while having ultimate belief in yourself. It is important to stay grounded, and to remember what you have worked up from, but not letting that get in the way of believing you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Another thing all of these hyper successful people do, which only builds their confidence is visualization along with words of affirmation. When you visualize before doing, you are prepared because it is as if you have already done it. This is quite literally what manifestation is. Say what you want about manifestation, when done properly it can create some pretty astonishing results. I like watching shows like this because they give you a glimpse into the life of people who have what you want and they literally give you the secret sauce.
How do you build this in your every day life?
